How To Get A Copy

Across Thin Ice, the first of the Nordguard Books, was released in the summer of 2011.

It is written and sketched by Teagan Gavet, and inked and painted by Tess Garman. The comic itself is 75 full color pages. It’s rated for ages 14+ (mild language and violence,) and is an action/adventure/science fiction graphic novel. You can find out more about the story, here!

The story will continues in the next book, (which we are diligently working on.)

Softcover copies are $19.95 USD. (There are a few remaining hardcover copies, but the very last of those first printed hardcovers will be sold at FurtherConfusion, in San Jose, Jan 2012. Sofawolf Press may eventually do a second printing of the hardcovers!)

Getting a Copy at your local comic store

In August, Diamond Distributors listed Across Thin Ice as a staff pick. Since then, comic book retailers can order copies to carry in their stores.
If your local store is not already carrying the book, you can ask them to order it for you! Tell them it’s in Diamond, and the title, “Nordguard: Across Thin Ice,” Sofawolf Press is the publisher, the author/artist is Tess Garman/Teagan Gavet, and the ISBN is 978-1-936689-10-1. That’s all the information you could possibly need!

Dale, from Sofawolf Press, wrote a little bit about the Diamond distribution process and what it means for the book, if you’re curious!
